Duncan recommended Konfabulator to me and, only the other day, I heard it had been bought by Yahoo.Smooth move Yahoo, good marketing, and it's great for Konfabulator as folks start making their own widgets (useful individual little graphical desktop aps).
If you haven't tried Konfabulator, take a minute to download it. It's nice, and (while superficially trite) it's kinda useful.
Okay, so shed loads of widgets tend to eat resources. Big deal. I've already got Mr. Ravenwood and Mr. Williamson on the case getting local Google Maps info integrated with our property classifieds data to be displayed on a widget.
